MOON BOY

day one, she laughs along
with the sun boy asking questions
and the moon boy hears the answers
and still he hides

day two, she drags awake
and the moon boy teaches her coffee
makes her sit down and eat
with quiet eyes

day three, she hears silence
enter a room of sound and lights
and it makes her sad.
